Has anyone heard about a "tii" version of the X5?
I was looking at some spyshots of that new "performance" version of the X5 and if you scroll down you see some interesting talk about making this into a "tii" version which will be some kind of CSL branding to new BMWs. If true that would be a really interesting angle to go with on the X, namely a very lightweight version of the car with some big power to boot. Unbeatable combo? I think so...
This is the conversation i'm referring to: http://www.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=133019 Scroll down a bit to see the "tii" talk... |

Not heard of that, however it's an interesting question. BMW have confirmed they will build a 1-series tii and probably 3-series. Building an X5 tii could get around calling it an X5 M and maintain distinction between the X5 and X6 range.
