Parking sensors imagining things

When ever I am in reverse or the parking sensors are on, the X5 imagines there is an object very close to the rear bumper, and "warns" me with a high, continuous tone, and yellow bars on the camera display.

There is nothing there.

I already cleaned the sensors, to no avail.....I'll take it to the dealer when I can. Wow this bugs me, and I can't drive the Saab because it magically got a flat tire over the period of sitting in the garage overnight.

let us know how much fixing the sensors would have cost if not under warranty.

Could be the sensor de-laminating or a fine chip/paint scrape. Sometimes it is hard to see. I had mine replaced under warrnaty.

I've been awaiting mine for a few weeks. They're apparently on back order.
