Saphire Black VS. Space Grey???????????

I've narrowed down the color to either Saphire Black or Space Grey.

I think Saphire Black looks nicer than Space Grey when it's clean, but it shows dirt way too easily.

Space Grey looks decent, but not as good as Saphire Black, but the advantage here of course is the less evident show of dirt.

Saphire Black looks good but unpractical.
Space Grey doesn't look as good but practical.

I'm completely at a cross road torn between these two choices. Saphire Black or Space Grey!! Which do you think I should have? Any pros and cons that you might have or experienced?

Working hard at keeping the vehicle looking good is better than a vehicle you don't think looks as good. Black for you.

I personally love the space gray (but already have a gray).

Funny! This is quite exactly what one of my friends told me. I won't hesitate now. Thanks.

The black Saphire is Metallic. Nice Metallic fleck and a little harder paint.

I would have gone grey had they offered a better grey. My '05 sterling grey was my first non black ride. I loved it.

I fell prey to black envy and had to go back to black. I love it when it's clean, I hate it 5 minutes afterward.

I usually go grey over black, but space grey just seems too flat to me... $.02

Exactly! That was the problem. Space Gray is fine, but it's kinda flat...nothing special, but absolutely nothing wrong either. Just too ordinary.

I sort of didn't like Titanium Silver that BMW offered, as it made the car look a bit light and cheap. But I think silver looks quite nice on Benz ML/GL class though.

Yeah. Silver is better suited for a ML as opposed to the X5.

I had to make the same decision as you- between looks (space grey) vs practicality (alpine white). All my previous cars were black and though they look hot when clean, they never stayed in that condition very long and required too much work. So practically won out for me.

Really up to what you value more. It's your car, you'll look at it everyday!
