Weeks between Order date and Delivery date
For those who are in the USA and who bought new X5's not from the dealer's lot, how long did you wait before your order arrived?

Order was in the system Dec. 20, '07 and pickup date was Jan. 29, '08.
6 weeks. It had gotten quite fast for a while for Feb/March orders.. something like 4 weeks I thought.

Mine was ordered about a month ago. It just completed production so I should be getting it in about 2-4 weeks (transport time).
Ironically, my dealer told me that the production date wouldn't be until late May. Somehow it got pushed up. |

Makes sense though. Your in NJ. Much closer to the factory than CA, thus transfer time is shorter. Plus if your dealer has an immediate production slot (ie: cancelled order), then your in luck! |

I did a test drive yesterday in NY. Was given a 3 week timeframe if order placed by 26MAY.

My friend ordered and picked up 2 weeks later in November. The dealer had an allocation spot open up, and it was a referral so they got their 4.8i sport pretty damn quick.
