Realy awful, but currently in Germany SUV have a really bad reputation. Because of the so called Global Warming (other discussion) some people think they can blame SUV drivers because of the fuel consumption. But in fact most of the SUV here are Diesel and compared to VANs the SUV consuming the same or sometimes less. My X with the 3.0d engine needs 24 mpg. However blaming is not the only problem, some of the environmental activists think they can demage cars to motivate the owners to buy smaller ones
. thank god that's only a minority of people so far.
