Navigation Issue

Can someone help me get the "knives and forks" off of my NAV display. I've tried just about everything and it's driving me nuts!

Go into the "i" icon on the right hand side of the map. Press the iDrive controller and seleect "hide Icons" and forever more be hungry!

Alternatively, if you have voice control, shout "Fork Off" at the top of your voice!

Just tried and there is no "i" icon on the right hand side of the map display. I can't locate any instruction "hide icons". Maybe my 2008 is different from your 2007?

Sorry, it's the left hand side. In any case i assume you'd have seen it if it was on the left.

Do you have the map showing in the main window?

I suggest that you put the map in the main screen, access the icons as described above, and then select whichever view you wish for the main screen thereafter.

2005 X5 4.4i navigation system shows no point of interest

In my navigation system, I do not have an option to select point of interest or see it. It is the MK 4 with V 24 operating system. Any help will be highly appreciated.
