Our new 2010 X5 xDrive30i at the dealer!

Pretty excited, will be picking it up Friday afternoon... just ordered it in early FEB too, it was produced pretty quickly, I think one of the last 2010s as they changed / are changing for 2011 production?

Inline 6
Alpine White / Sand Beige leather
roof rails / side steps
Sport Activity Pkg (but not Adaptive Drive)
Cold WX pkg
Rear Climate pkg
Premium Pkg
Technology Pkg
Multi-Contour & Ventilated Seats
Comfort Access
SAT Radio
iPod adapter

We'll be turning in a 2007 328xi (end of lease) also... can't wait to have the new technology iDrive /NAV, higher driving / visibility, huge sunroof, and more ROOM!

grats!... curious why not the 35d or wait for the twin turbo? I'm satisfied with this engine but with those out there and this going away, it's hard to say no.

Wife didn't like the 35d but wouldve been my choice. We need the new SAV before the 3-series lease is up end of APR and dealer wasn't sure when 2011 MY orders would get production slots so we jumped on the 2010.

Smile 2010 X5 xDrive30i is in the garage!

We just picked up the new SAV during yesterday's snow-shower in RI... haven't yet driven it yet myself because wife took the honor on the way home - but love it already!

Will post some pics & more impressions in next few days... we sprung for the extended warranty (the cheaper United product) to get coverage on almost anything not normal wear/tear or normal maintenance - 6 yrs / 100K miles. It was $4K. Anyone have thoughts on utility of that? With the reports of fuel problems on '07-'09 X5 6-cyl SAVs it provides some peace of mind at least. And I expect that we'll keep it at least 6 yrs and probably put almost 100K miles on it by then.
