Common problems

Heya,

Is there a list or thread floating around which lists relatively common problems with the X5? Every model has them and I'd be surprised if BMW didn't, but since this is my first, I don't know for sure.

Thanks.

I don't know that there's any specific list compiled for the e70, but just reading through some threads should give you a general idea of the common quirks..

- high battery drain gremlins (just happened to me yesterday and I have no idea why - no ipod or anything, alarm was armed like always) Cleared on the next startup.
- some 4.8i owners experience jerky transmission shifting
- lower than desired mpg I hear
