New owner - quick questions

Just picked up our new X5 3.0 and have a couple of quick questions on what "little stuff" should have been included. Has anyone that recently purchased received the LED flashlight (search shows a lot of folks a while ago that didnt get them and it was usually due to the flashlight jumping into the pocket of someone at the dealership). Same question for the storage package - should there have been anything included with that other than the rails in the cargo area? Great experience so far, just trying to make sure we got everything that we should have.

Got the flashlight with mine. With regards the cargo area, I do not think you should have received more then the rails with the premium package. The storage package is an accessorie.

No flashlight with mine and no tool to crank the moon roof.

My rails came with four adjustable tie downs.

what tool for the moonroof? Should be a tool to manually release the parking brake.

my flashlight back in january was in the glove compartment.

The "S" shaped, aluminum looking tool to close the moon roof in case of power failure as stated in the 2008 manual.

ok - on to dumb question #2. Where would I find the label/plate showing the build date, vin # and stuff like that? Every other car I've ever owned has had the info plate down on the B pillar on the drivers side door.
