Anyone try cheaper ebay TV-in-Motion?

I have looked extensively at units to allow the dvd to play while driving. I know that Nav-TV makes one that WILL work on US e70's, but the price of $500+ dollars for such a unit seems a little overpriced. I found a power-seller on ebay that claims they make a unit that will work, and it's half the price! Has anyone tried it on a U.S. e70? It looks almost identical to the Nav-TV unit.

Here's the link to one of them..

TV FREE INTERFACE BMW3(E 90)+5(E60)+6(E63) NEW X5 E70 - eBay (item 350147429657 end time May-30-09 08:16:07 PDT)

Thanks,
Neil

Yes - much different in 2009. We have a module in stock for the 2008 that is still going through testing, we'll start a new thread when completed.

2009 was much easier and already completed.

Great! I guess I'll hold off then, so at least I know I'm buying something that works. Any estimate of how much you think it will be?

Still a bit early, so can't say for sure. We'll be sure to get this working ASAP.

Tom,

In case I miss that thread, please shoot me a PM when your module is tested and for sale. I'm interested.
