Seat Memory Linked to Key Fob?

The experts can weigh in on how it is supposed to work, but my experience is that at least the seat will remain in its last position even when the X is unlocked by a different key. So I push my number to get everything back the way I want it. And part of the time I'm not sure that it actually remembers my last setting.

Your title is right. The seat memory is linked to the key fob. When you program the seats with your key fob, it will remember that setting when you unlock the car with the same key, same as other settings in the car like radio station pre sets etc. When I accidentally pick up my wife's key fob, then I use the memory button on the side to get my own seat settings.

I have ths same problem...
When my GF uses her key(Comfort Access) to unlock/open the door...her seat automatically starts to adjust for her memory setting... When I use mine(programmed the same way), I always have to hold down the button... The only thng I can think of, is that she only set the memory for the 1 position....whereas, I think I might have accidentally setupboth 1 and 2...and because of this, it doesn't know which one to use, so it doesn't automatically adjust upon entrance like hers does. |

Also, the 2 seat positions can be different for each key. In other words, you can have 4 total seat positions - 2 for each key. I wish there was an easy way to clone the keys instead of having to program each one individually.
