Could someone share their experience on How their X5 handles in the beach?. May be with pictures "stuck" in soft sand. I am thinking to take my x5 to brigantine beach in NJ next month. Would I get stuck??. Will Bmw road side assist save me??. Any comments deeply appreciated.

Well, I actually went over the soft sand this weekend... And, the car drove very well.
It was almost like driving on the thick snowy road.... I even parked on the soft sand for about 30 minutes.... and when I came back, the car sank a bit... got me worried... But, my X5 got out without a problem. To go over the sandy hills, I think you need to use the momentum of the vehicle from time to time... |
