possible to amplify Sirius signal for volume and quality?

Hey all, I have the factory installed Sirius tuner and although Sirius is supposed to have a better broadcast signal (have been a long time XM fan until now) it still comes in pretty weak and with a low source volume compared to the other sources....I'm pretty sure we don't have the option of adjusting the source volume (with the premium audio) so I was wondering if there was a way to boost or amplify the signal for clarity and volume? I have read somewhere on the BMW bike forums that someone has found a mini amplifier that is plug and play that claims to add 1/3 volume and increase signal strength for under $50....Anyone heard of this or any other way to do this??
