Simple questions_ CD changer/Zune!

How do you get the CD changer to shuffle??

I am embarassed to say I have no clue. Tried to read the manual for two days and no positive outcome!

Also, does anyone hve a Zune? I have the USB/iPOD adapter and it doesn't fit. Tried the AUX USB and in the submenu, it shows the USB but can't seem to get any music?

When a track is playing, press down the iDrive controller and then turn it to you get to "Random All", then click. You need to repeat this each time you restart the car!

I don't think the Zune supports MTP or mass storage over USB so it probably won't work with the USB adapter. Bad call in MSFT's part and I'm sticking to the 3rd party players like those from Sansa and Creative for that reason, as well as some others.

I tried this but I only get "Random", detail. I never get "Random All"

This is what I do:
I-drive => Entertainment => CD => Select CD # => Select Track => Press I-drive ... I do not get Random All... Am I missing something? Is this a software update I need to get?

Sorry, I can't explain why it's different on your X.

There is some work on a converter cable. Here are a couple links to get you started on a watch. There is newer information, but I don't have the bookmarks with me and they are not on my Firefox synch account.http://www.slashgear.com/zune-to-ipo...ion-024162.php

Btw, I have an iPod given to me from a vendor and my son gave me his Gen 1 Zune when he bought a Samsung P2 and I much prefer the Zune. Though the Samsung is the coolest of all.
