BMW increases finance rate by 1%

Just saw that BMW bumped up the APR from 0.9% to 1.9% until end of October. Glad I didn't wait!

I got a fully loaded 2008 4.8i about four weeks ago (on 7/31 when it looked like the 0.9% offer was going to go away...but they ended up extending for another month until 9/2). I got it for about $500 below invoice and the 0.9% APR. I am pretty happy with the deal as it looks like BMW hasn't been giving any further incentives after I bought (except for the "free" premium package which I got as well). Plus, I got my E70 _exactly_ as I wanted it instead of settling for a differently equipped model in order to take delivery on time (or now because they have stopped production on MY2008).

I am quite interested to see what discounts will be available to those buying MY2009s when they arrive. You have to assume closer to MSRP, but I guess we will see. The diesels will probably be minimally discounted if at all...but am very curious about the 4.8i (or the xDrive48i as they are calling it now) compared with recent closeout deals.
