Dumb question: Dvd?

Guys,

Sorry for the dumb question but since I bought my x5 used, I wanted to ask if I could insert and play a dvd (where the nav dvd goes) in my 08 x5?

yes you can, i've tried it before and it plays them like a normal dvd. (although my nav "disc" is stored on the hard drive built into the car..but that same slot where the nav should be seems to work)

the stacker on the other hand does not

Actually the front DVD player only works when in Park. But there are aftermarket fixes for that although I haven't looked for them.
