Red face X5 3.0Si 2009 vs. ML350 2009

Hey guys!

I have recentlly crashed my 08 X5 3.0Si have sold it too some hustlers in my country minus 15% from the price it was insured $100,000.00

Now Im in a dilema what whip should I get the new restyled Merc ML350 or go with the whips I love for their control another 2009 BMW X5 3.0Si...

The whip Im gona be buying when the new 2009 year hits as I see no reason too buy a whip at the end off 2008 when I have other whips too drive.

Go with the 09 ML350. Quieter, Smoother ride with the ML. The ML looks much better IMHO. The E70 doesn't look and ride as good unless it is a fully loaded 4.8is with aero kit. Again, just my opinion.

looks much like a RAV4 to me. But the RAV4 is one of the better looking mini-utes.

I'll take the '09 E70 anytime over the '09 ML specially with the new idrive system. I'll even take the GL over the new ML.

Completely agree. The new iDrive is way better than the OLD Command in the ML. I even thought the old iDrive was better than the OLD Command.

Asides from that, the handling of the X5 is much better than the ML.

I aslo prefer the looks (completely subjective) of the X5 over the ML.

Not to say the ML isn't a bad car. It was my next choice if I didn't get my X5.

X5 hands down.

By the way, you used the word "whip" 5 times in your original post.

Maybe he should be "whipped" for that

Seriously though, since the new iDrive is rumored to be out in X5 sometime in the spring, maybe you should consider buying the facelifted ML with its new COMMAND system. It's available now (I saw one yesterday), and it's said to be admirably comfortable, using their ADSII (Adaptive Damping System) with AIRMATIC air suspension found also on its flagship model S-class.

You can't go wrong with either choice though.

why cant I call it a whip???
1. Whip 1396 up, 148 down When the steering wheel was first put into use in automobiles, it was called the "whip". The whip is what you used to control the horses on a stagecoach, hence the analogy. Many years later, various hip hop artists noticed that the Mercedes-Benz logo resembled a steering wheel. They then proceeded to use the old term "whip" to describe any Mercedes-Benz vehicle. The term has now been generalized to classify any expensive automobile.

from http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=whip

When is the new iDrive going to be introduced too the X5 2009??
