X had an electrical kniption yesterday

i hope this doesnt mean its fried..
wifey got in to start the X in the garage and all manner of warnings came on,
too fast to read she said, and various lights inside and out were all
flashing at a 3-4 per second frequency.
in addition the climate display did same flickering on and off..
shortly afterward the whole truck was dead. zero power anywhere.
if it was a battery drain then i've never seen one like this.

ps called the dealer, got bmw roadside to flatbed it over.
the guy jumped it and it started but all sorts of shit was out of whack.
idrive said 4x4 and traction (i think) were down. in addition,
the idle and accel pedal also triggered weird unnatural rev pattern.
put it on the bed and shut it down. let u know whats what later.

stfa and couldnt find similar prob. ne1 here?

This happened 2x in my '07 3.0si. It was something related to the battery if I remember correctly. Unfortunatley, the new battery was somewhat a temporary fix. Man, the E70 is really whacked!!!
