Securing mats

I have the all weather rubber mats, which I like, but I can't seem to secure them so that they don't move around. I saw the little plastic screws, but they are not long enough to go through the mats and in to the floor. Anyone have any suggestions?

The screws work

I have the same in my X5. The plastic screw works you just have to press really hard while turning it about 100 times clockwise. It will "bite" or burrow it's way into the carpet and actually sticks well. My mats don't move at all.

Here in the UK i have the rubber mats, they are fixed with velcro. a velcro stud screws into the carpet, then on the back of the mat there is a 2" velcro pad. Works very well.
Mats are great easy to clean, much better for every day use than thoes velour ones.
