So it sounds like the software update will rectify the problem. Of course, if it didn't have this ridiculous electronic brake to begin with, we wouldn't be having this conversation. Too much electronic controls on these cars IMO. Since manually removing the brake I have not been able to get the parking brake to activate. I guess it's back to the dealer....
