can night vision be added later on? because...

night vision won't be available initially, but will be probably available in the next year or so for the x5. do you think it can be added on afterwards?

for example, does anyone know if you can add it onto a 7 series now... since it's already available on that car???

seems like it should be possible, as it's just a camera that integrates with the nav screen.... but who knows if they will sell it to you or make it work.

any thoughts?

Dunno about night vision, but for you single folks, I hear in all 2008 models there is a camera that integrates with a breathalyzer....takes a picture of your date after the bars close...it's part of the Premium Package and is called "hindsight".....

There must be a lot of deer/bear in his neck of the woods. I like your idea though about the picture taking. It is just a matter of asking the "date" to cross the front of the car... Some X-ray vision might be just as helpful ensuring the appropriate gender of the "date"... lol!

I was at the dealership the other day and these two guys were playing with the night vision of a 650ic... Very expensive toy I'd say...It come in handy hunting game with the lights out...
