New Member Purchasing 08 X5

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to introduce myself and obtain some advice on purchasing a 2008 X5 3.0.

I'm trying to work out a deal with a Local Dealership that is having this X5 tranferred to their dealership (they are covering the cost to have it shipped): Here are the options:

08 X5 3.0
options: 3rd row seating, rear climate control, prem. pckge, cold weather pckge, tech pckge, Phantom Footprints etching, ipod connection. MSRP 56K

we are trying to take advantage of the 0.9% financing that BMW is offering. The vehicle that we are purchasing has 450 miles from BMW manager driving it. Would this be considered a demo? how much of a discount can we negotiate on this 08 model with the above options.

I'm trading in a 07 Honda Civic Si with neg value of 3K.

Any information would be greatly appreciated! and I look forward obtaining information from this forum!

Thanks again
Dennis

Yes that would be considered a demo but that is pretty low miles for one so that is good. At this stage in the game on '08s you should be able to negotiate below invoice. So, I would go to like Edmunds and get the invoice price on it.

yep a demo, you should be able to easily get your negative equity off the msrp.
if you have to pay anywhere near 56k you could get a lot more car for a little bit more money.

You should really be looking for at least $1500 below invoice. Given that it's got 450 miles on it and an '08 model, I would actually shoot for at least $3000 below invoice.
