minimum distance to drive for battery performance

Hi guys..

I was wondering if there is a minimum distance the X5 needs to be driven every day to have the battery maintain a good charge..?? I drive about 24 kms (15 miles) approx. daily during weekdays (rarely on weekends), and it is pretty much city traffic, so stop n' go. As it is getting colder now, I usually turn on steering wheel and driver seat heating, with fan on low speed and navigation screen on. In summers, I have AC on with low to medium fan speed and nav on. I also have radio/cd turned on pretty much the duration of the drive. Can this cause battery drain.. or is it sufficient to keep the charge optimal..??

my X is 2008 3.0si with Cold Weather and Tech package. In last couple of days, I've noticed the X hesitating a bit during cold start. Is that normal..??

thanks..

The only driving I do these days are taking my wife to the train station on local roads not 2 miles away, twice a day. I haven't noticed anything with it. I did this from January to June too with no problems.
