Anyone change seats after purchase?

To get the discounts I took one my dealer traded for another to get what I wanted and to qualify. It had everything I wanted but had sport instead of comfort seats. Didn't have a chance to sit in them before. I really don't like these. I'd like them better in my Z4.

Has anyone swapped out the seats? Guessing the cost is obsurd, but thought I'd at least ask.

Hey markmm, wish you lived near VA Beach because I have been looking into getting the comfort seats!! I got an 08 4.8i loaded w/sport package, etc., and like you, took the one on the lot because I got such a good deal on it...It came with sport seats which I like, but my mom, wife, and others that aren't as tall as I am (6'2") have a hard time getting over the "lip" on the side of the seats. I think they're comfortable and have a really good fit to them but I'd like to have the comfort seats I guess for all others that ride and drive the car as well. I inquired at my local dealer and they said that you cold switch the seats out but it would be expensive because they don't make the seats separately but instead would have to make each from scratch. They also said that I might be able to find a set that was in a wrecked or salvaged vehicle, but I'm assuming that if I did find some, they wouldn't be in great shape!! (*my seats are just under 3 months old*). Anyway, if you're ever down here in Virginia Beach and have tan comfort seats you want to switch out for tan sport seats, just let me know!!
