Unhappy My steering wheel is peeling *whine*

Right above the + volume control. I guess from my nails Anyone else? I know it's under warranty but do they have to replace the entire steering wheel of is it a separate piece? ///M steering wheel in my future??

I did search but only saw issues with E53s.

I'd rather have them replace the whole steering wheel than peeling more of the leather and gluing new layer of it on again (I don't think they sell the leather seperately anyways) Wouldn't you prefer it that way?

It's not the leather peeling, it's like a film over plastic that started to bubble then peel on the spoke of the steering wheel where the controls are. It looks like a separate section.

This is a common problem with many late-model BMWs, especially the 3er. Stuff like the shifter, door handles, window switch panels, and steering wheel centrepiece. Replacement under warranty.

They replace door handles too?

Sorry for hijacking but my rear seat's interior door handle makes a squeaky sound when I grab it. Will they replace that too? It doesn't seem very easy to me as it's all covered up by leather or something I can't recall what though.
