BMW introduces the new X5 M Sport Package in Australia
![]() For the first time in its nine-year history, BMW is to offer the X5 Sports Activity Vehicle with an M Sport Package that enhances the already fine suspension settings and adds a further dash of sporting individualism to the exterior and interior. BMW X5 Sports Activity Vehicles fitted with the M Sport Package will be instantly identifiable thanks to the BMW M Aerodynamics Package which adds a new set of sports-oriented body-colour front and rear bumpers, side skirts, colour-coded door protection strips and wider wheel arches to accommodate the special M light alloy wheels. BMW M Sport Suspension provides firmer damper settings as well as revised spring rates. If Adaptive Drive is optioned, the M Sport Suspension is not fitted. The BMW X5 M Sport Package is available in Alpine White, and the following metallic hues: Titanium Silver, Space Grey, Monaco Blue, Black Sapphire and Carbon Black. The BMW X5 M Sport Package exterior treatment is completed by the luxurious BMW Individual Exterior Line, featuring satin finish aluminium side window surrounds and roof rails finished in high-gloss satin chrome. At each corner BMW X5 M Sport Package vehicles are fitted with 19-inch V-spoke M light alloy wheels (style 223 M), wrapped in run-flat safety tyres sized at 255/50 R 19 at the front and 285/45 R 19 at the rear. All of these exterior features highlight the dynamic driving and agility engineered into the sporting benchmark vehicle in this market segment, and give customers a far greater level of customisation, far beyond potential rivals. Should a customer wish to progress the level of personalisation even further, BMW is able to offer another option in the form of 20-inch M light alloy wheels (style 227 M), shod with 275/40 R20 front and 315/35 R20 rear run flat safety tyres. Both M Sport Package wheel options are fitted with high-performance tyres designed to cope with the elevated cornering performance delivered by the M Sport Suspension. For the interior, the BMW X5 M Sport Package has even more thrills for the discerning driver. Electrically adjustable sport seats (comfort seats for the X5 xDrive48i) for the front row are enhanced with a memory function for the driver’s setting. An M leather-covered steering wheel, finely brushed aluminium interior trims and an anthracite BMW Individual roof lining complete the transformation of the interior. The BMW X5 M Sport Package is available now and is priced according to model: # For the BMW X5 xDrive48i, the M Sport Package is priced from $5,400 # For the BMW xDrive30i/d/sd Executive models, the M Sport Package is priced from $8,000 # For the BMW xDrive30i/d models, the M Sport Package is priced from $11,000 # The 20-inch M wheel option is priced at $2,648. germancarscene

Nothing new to Europeans!
But the article does not mention when or where (Can or US) it will offer the M package... I'm more looking forward to the X5 ///M! |
