New Deal - $67,000 for 08 4.8 - Yes/No?

This forum and your advise has been very helpful. Secured the 4.8i I want with Sports Package, Premium, Premium Sounds and some other goodies for 3K over invoice.

MSRP is $70,675. I still feel like it's a premium deal versus a steal ....

Sounds really high, at least compared to the Sept prices. Is the free premium still included? If so, then you should be looking for below invoice...

Way too high. There was an '08 4.8 in San Diego I almost pulled the trigger on that was $69,500 MSRP and they were going to sell it to me for $63,500.

deal!!! buy it so that you don't figure out the deals on up to '06 4.8's drive it long and hard and drive down the price by nearly $5,000 per year!

no deal! I got my 07 loaded with literally everything for $71k. Go back at the end of the month with an offer for nothing more than $1k over invoice.

Not sure if Premium Package is still being offered at no charge, but I got mine in September and I was able to get it for just below invoice when the dealer was overstocked (more than 50 in the lot). Depending on where you are, price may vary too. It is always a good idea to check the dealer inventory. If they have a lot in stock, they must move them at cost or just above it. Going to the dealer at the end of the month is also a good idea since they are always trying to push volume for the month because their bonuses. Good luck. The X5 is a great car.

at this time of year, in this particular year, they should be selling
these things at a net loss. 2008 is last year's model.
F*ck invoice. they may not have sold 5 cars in the last month.
i would start at invoice minus 5k if you have cash.
