I put an order in for a fully loaded 09 4.8 and is already being prepared for delivery next week. I only had to put down 2k as my credit was approved and dont need ti sign documents until my car arrives.My dealer is saying he can only give me a discount of 1k off the msrp because it is a 09.Is this true and if anyone as bought an 09 how much off the msrp did you get?Keep in mind I have almost every option of the car, the msrp is 78,500 USD.

In today's climate sounds like you are getting ripped off badly.

Take back your deposit and let the dealer sit on the car for a bit.

You are correct but is there any standard percentage below msrp that I should haggle the price down?

I'm not sure what the invoice is on $78,500 I would go onto Edmunds.com and get that and work from there on the final offer. I would say between 5%-10% off MSRP is a workable range on an '09.

My CA told me 09s are going for close to invoice. Pretty bad climate for new cars and pretty much all can be had for close to or below invoice.
