3.0 rear hitch and 4.8 rear hitch

ok i have a good question.
i have a 2005 3.0 with an original tow package.
the original kit comes with a new reinforcement bumper. so the original gets removed. now im returning my 3.0, and getting a 2006 4.8is. i want to take the tow package from my 3.0 and put it on my 4.8. problem is i lost the original reinforcement bumper on my 3.0 so i want to take the reinforcement bumper off my 4.8 and put it on my 3.0 and put the hitch on my 4.8..
i called bmw and they say the hitch is the same for any x5 model. so that should mean the reinforcement bumper is the same as well????

I just confirmed with the parts department, they are the same (reinforcement bumper) so you should be good to go on swapping them out.
