yup the category thing is a pain in the ass. Would it really be a ton slower to search by specifying 1) distance then 2) name or category? While in the vehicle using a nav, what other scenario would there be? It's not supposed to be google. I do web apps for a living and from a usability standpoint... I'd have to question who thought of this scheme?
I'll have to give voice recognition a try - maybe that works better? Does it even work for nav?
