Easy Care Tire Warranty just suffered a puncture.

I just got in my X5 and saw I have a major puncture almost a slice in my right rear sidewall which caused my tire pressure monitor to light up. It is deep enough to the point when filling the tire up with air it gushes out. I purchased the Easy Care Tire Warranty plan when I purchased my 08 4.8i and wanted to know if any one else on this forum has this plan and how has the coverage been? I am currently waiting for road side assistance to put the spare on.

I purchased it but haven't had the need to use it. My brother purchased it and had to replace a tire on his B7. The dealer ordered the tire and switched it out. No issues, no questions asked His was also sidewall damage.

Purchased the plan but never had the need to use it yet.

Please report your experience once your car is up and running.

Good luck!

I have nothing but good things to say about the Easy Care tire warranty and highly recommend it to anyone debating on whether to get it or not! The dealership and Easy Care had no problems giving me a brand new Michelin 19 inch run flat tire for my 08 4.8i which saved me $375 for the tire and mounting. I have to say this was one of the most pleasant experience since I was worried they would deny coverage.

Definitely worthwhile to the individual who has the problem, but think of the killing they're making on this stuff overall - it's no wonder they can just give away a free tire & some labor here and there.

I got rid of the pricey-to-replace runflats so I'm taking my chances without this warranty, but yes, it was offered as I handed over the bank check.
