My Alpine Weiss 3.0d

Hello, my name is Magnus and aim from sweden (in the far north of Europe ) and aim a happy owner of my second X5 (the first one was a Lemans Blue 4,8is) and, well, I thought I should introduce my 2008 E70 3.0d in my first post here in the forum. I bought my car slightly used (4 months ago) and didnt have the opportunity to choose the specs myself. Though I have really enjoyed the car so far and with the current gaz prices in Europe the 3,0d engine is ideal.

Though, I now have a 2009 X5 4,8i on order speced exactly as I wish (should be here in March)

welcome - looks just like mine (and a couple others) minus aero, right down to the light poplar interior trim and what looks like 35% tint (not pictured in mine). Whoever it was had good taste.

What're your new specs going to be? Or is what you listed going to be it? (I notice you said 215 wheels and not the 214 wheels in the pic).

Thanks, yes I think this car is a big improvment from my previous X5 (apart from the engine). We had snow here a few weeks ago and as I live on the countryside (6km of gravel road) the car has shown to be quite useful.

Hello,

Yes, it does certinely looks quite the same to yours, though I really would like to have the aero package on mine, looks so much better. Aim not a big fan of the wood but when it was time to buy a new car I couldent find one without it, though I love the saddle brown leather.

As for my new X5, 2009 4,8i Monaco Blue Metallic with Aero Dynamic Package, will post a full spec list later on, its in swedish (and quite long )

At first I was very tempted to go with Mineral Green, a collegue of mine recently got his 4,8i delivered in this colour, I didnt like it in person. I didnt want any of the more common colours (Black, grey, silver), so I ended up putting down an order on a Monaco Blue 4,8i.

Welcome to X5world! Very nice colour combination Although not my personal taste, Alpinweiß should definitely be paired with Sattlebraun for a classic, warm feel.

But I think the Alfa Romeo looks better.

Thanks for the warm welcome and the compliments.

The Alfa Romeo Spider has a very classy look, though unfortunely not as sporty as I thought it would be, its a OK car to drive but not much more.

Since I got my M6 Coupe delivered the Alfa Spider has been sitting in the garage most of the time.
