comfort seats and m sport with aerokit

hi
-i checked 2 x5´s for sale in UK,both with comfort seats but different headrests.its not the first time seeing this difference.why?
-sometime ago someone started a thread here about the fitment of aero kit on a car with m sport body kit. i cant find this thread.

I think the headrests in the 07's were different than the 08's.

indeed, the 07s comfort seats looked better in my opinion but in 08 they were fixed for further safety reasons... were they considered active headrests in '07?

I just checked the IIHS test records. The 2007 comfort seats did not have active head restraints. I have the 2008 comfort seats, and while they may look more plain than the '07 seats, I see no difference in the comfort level between the two. They're safer too!
