Isn't the M Sport package the one with the all mono trim paint ? If so I have it to give it a
 . Maybe they will do something a little different for the US version. And I don't think you can it get with the sport package and 20" wheels, correct ?

Check this thread for X5 M-sport pics.
M-sport pack Style 227 wheels are 20". 20-inch, cast. Size 10 x 20 front, 11 x 20 rear.

It looks good in certain colors - like dark - and not in others. I like the two-tone to break up an all-white for example.
Also, I've always thought actual M-vehicle owners liked their exclusivity. It seems like BMW is doing this to add more revenue... much like when they started offering their own performance parts (Ad here). I know they're a business but it may get some M guys upset.
