Rear Window Wiper/Rear Window Replacement

Has anyone had their Rear glass replaced on the E70?

I need the wiper and glass replaced. Just curious on the cost.

I just got a quote of $550 Installed for the glass repair, on site.

Anyone replaced the rear wiper? Should I repair it before the window?

You don't have full glass coverage via your insurance?

That normally covers windshield. I have a high deductible, so not going to file. If I can get the rear wiper replaced for a reasonable price, it's all good.

My friend's 2001 Tahoe rear window cost him $1600 at the dealer, so I was girding myself for something in the $3000 range.

It's covered under comprehensive part of your policy. I also have a high deductable, but for glass, it would only be 100.00 deductable. Check with your agent...
