yes. mine crapped out for 24 hours or so. i was in idrive and i think i may have done something with the parked car operation or possibly the timed presets for the AC. it was back to normal the next day. no issues since. at least 8 / 9 months ago.

I had the same problem. Does it blow air from the rear outlets? If yes, it's likely your AC motor has blown. SA has told me that there is a separate AC motor for rear.

its a 2008... Dicember 2007 built...
i dont have any rear vents so i could not say... so it might come back to normal?

You should have rear vents - all X5s have. They are right behind the center console, blowing air to rear seats.
