Ag4.8 is on a distinguished road
Seat control module

Hello

I just bought a E70 4.8 and after 36 hrs, it is in the shop. When I got it the airbag warning light came on and "seat calibration" warning appeared. I brought it in the next am. They checked the airbag warning and reset it and could not find anything. I didn't mention the seat calibration as I read the manual and reset it according to instructions.

Later that day, airbag warning, seat calibration, and adaptive headlight warnings appeared. Took it back. THey say the seat control module is defective and needs to be replaced. This should correct the seat and airbag warnings. ALso, the headlight motor needs to be replaced. Parts in Monday, ready Tue, but they want to watch it and drive it so ready Wed.

Has anyone had these failures. Not a good feeling, obviously. THey seemed surprised; I won't say how I felt.

I am driving a X5 35d while mine is fixed.

Any thoughts on what else I can do? I hope this is not the start of a lemon.
My dealer seems to be helpful, and I want to give them the benefit of the doubt. I will of course, make sure I get all the paperwork.
