Has anyone changed their roof rails?

I have seen a couple of requests on how to do it, but no responses to the threads. Has anyone done this??

Great mod idea. Like the M-sport rails. But you loose some functionality as you cannot tie something if you have too.
I had read somewhere someone did it, don't remember.

I got a quote from the local dealer yesterdy to change from the normal roof fitting to the ones,to the ones that are fitted to the m sports package. BMW were asking for $1200 and said it was quite a big and fiddly job and would take a fair few hours.

Now reading the attached treads it would seem easy to do it ourselves hopfully.

Bozz.

gokudo,

You may find this interesting, you could order the parts from this listing and most probably fit them youself,
