X5 got in an accident today :(
Since the day I moved to Dubai, I hated roundabouts because they are confusing and there aren't any in Los Angeles (Where I grew up). After 9:00 pm the signals at the roundabouts turn off, and you drive when its clear. On my way home from the mall today, I was at the roundabout with an Audi A4 in front of me. It was clear so the guy started to go, and I did to and at the last second he slammed his brakes and I hit him. Everything below the grille (Bumper and the black grilles and PDC) needs to be changed. I have the M-Sport kit so I know the prices are a bit higher. Anybody know how much the front bumber is? The piece which starts right below the grille. Also, I need all the black vents and new PDC sensors for the front. Anyone know the prices for these?

Go to: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...49&hg=51&fg=15 to get the part numbers.
And enter the part numbers onto http://www.ecstuning.com to get the prices. The PDC sensors are expensive!! I've got my X5 hit as well and have to have the whole front bumper, both fenders, engine hood, and most of the front components like the radiator, fan all replaced. |

You'll need 4 PDC sensors right? And have you included the M bumper?

How is your total coming to 16k? Is anything under the hood damaged or is the hood a couple grand? |

I was quoted $5k by my dealer to replace everything damaged including paint and repair. My dealer had most parts in stock, and one part will arrive tomorrow so everything is going to be done in a week. I have accepted it, and they will start it tomorrow. Hope your repair comes along good.

I got a ton to be replaced, including both headlights, both fenders, both bumpers (front and rear), the lower trunk, one taillight set, a lot of things under the hood.
It'll take 2 months or more to finish. They're ordering the parts now. It's taking a few weeks alone. Quote:
