hi - my first post!

I got my 08 X5 in June of 2008 and I still totally love my ride! I ordered my car while stationed in Germany with my hubbie (military). I was on pins and needles for almost 5 months waiting on my car! In fact, I knew every move my car made, from production and delivery to the port! When I finally got the call that it was ready for pick-up, I couldn't get there fast enough. But it was awesome to see it sitting there, all clean and polished. I had a blast driving on the autobahn! I've had a few problems with it since, like the battery not charging properly - didn't know about proper care 'cause I couldn't register with BMW NA until I returned stateside - and by then it was a little too late, and a new fuel pump had to be put in. Other than that, all's good. The only thing is that I'm a total clean freak with it 'cause I have three little kids in it. I'm always cleaning the leather and vacuuming out the food !

There are a few things I want to add, but I'll get around to doing that eventually. I'm just happy enjoying my car the way it is.

I can only imagine driving the X on the autobahn, I have driven 3 and 5 series on the autobahn, and it was a blast.
