Cool Anyone in Germany (or Europe) install this on their E70/E71 X5 or X5M/X6M ?

I'd be curious to see how it looks and works.

Yes, so that the red light cameras can clearly read your plates and send you a ticket.

Blinder?

I like the frame, I will have US Spec E70 MY11 in Germany but would like the opposite effect - blinding red light cameras, any ideas?

I would love that and would pay quite a bit for it.
If the lights were bright enough pointing on the plates, wouldn't that affect the camera from reading the plate?

Mount your license plate in reverse.

Since most cameras use a powerful flash, and many states now have reflective license plates, it would take a very power light to blind the camera.

Check-out how bright your plates look at night if you put a flashlight next to your head/eye and look at the plate -- the plates are quite effective returning the light right back towards the light source.

I have tried various of those license plate sprays to hide my plates from the cameras. I have tried to polish my plate to see if that helps. I bought VEIL but never tried it out because I figured it was worthless.
I am currently driving both my cars with custom made non-reflective matte white and black plates. That helps a bit with the cameras but not quite there yet. So with non-reflective plates (which I have) and a couple bright LED's shining on the plates, should that do the trick?

I will try out the flashlight thing when I get a chance.
