sunroof leak normal??

brought my 2007 x5 to dealer today because i noticed when in car washes the driver rear side of the sunroof drips at a relatively fast pace. It does not enter the cabin..just drips onto the plastic gutters under the hinge. The service tech told me after blasting it with hose etc..that this was operating normally and under high pressure it will do that and the drainage is appropriate.

Does this sound right?? has anyone else ever opened the shade while in a touchless carwash and seen dripping??? should i bee concerned? or believe the service tech?

water is supposed to enter the sunroof. if it were a complete seal, how would you even open the sunroof without popping noises. water passes the sunroof seal, and on to the "rain gutter" and then runs to the water drains.
