music at the taken out key (how?)

Hi i have x5 E70 2007 with new firmware. I can not understand how at the taken out key to leave music on. When I take out the key music is turned off. Only one time by chance at the taken out key there is to play music . I did not understand as it turned out.

I assume you do not have comfort access.

Okay so take OUT your key and press engine start WITHOUT pressing the brake pedal. This should switch on your radio and other electronic controls. That should work...

do you have comfort access?

as long as you do not put your foot on the brake pedal you can turn off the engine but continue with auxiliary power.

however, if you remove the key after doing this everything turns off.

but of course if you have comfort access the key does not need to be in the ignition slot. nostrovia.

i dont have comfort access. So i cant listen music with taken out key? But I listened one time. Was this a glitch?

If your Bluetooth connection is active, that will happen.. it happen to me all the time, when you are talking on the phone and then if you deactivate the Bluetooth from the phone, the system will stay on until you hang-up the call.
