Clear side markers

Has anyone purchased and swapped the front orange side markers with clear ones? how much and where can you purchase something like that? i came across this site that sells them for ~$72....is that a good price??? BMW E70 X5 SAV Clear Front Bumper Reflector (USA Models) - Stealth Auto

you can buy colored side markers to match the color of your car. I have black sapphire so i got the smoked side markers. Bought mine off ebay for $40 shipped- and its the same quality as buying them for $72 from that website.

I dont seem to find them on eBay for $40. Only place I found them is on a website for $70+...

did you check Jlevisw.com? they dont have much for the e70 but i think they have almost every color.

yes i came across that website but they did not have the platinum bronze color either...looks like i might go with the clear ones.....do you guys know how they are installed? is it just clips?

I went through that link last night and didn't remember seeing a radiator when I did my fogs a few days ago... thanks for the clarification. Just ordered.

BTW, laws don't really care about reflector colors do they? Seems only the side signal colors need to stay amber.

thanks for the diy link ...no there is no law about the color of the sidemarkers....you just cant have blue or red forward point LED's found that out the hardway lol
