Not reading iTouch library

I recently bought an iTouch. Loaded it up with songs and hooked it up to the X. No problem. Playlist read and it played songs fine. I connected to another pc and, not knowing enough about iTunes, deleted my songs and it replaced it with a few store-bought tunes. Hooked it up to my car now the screen just reads "reading library" and never changes. Any idea on how to fix this?

Thanks in advance.

Connect it to the first PC where your songs
reside. Reload the iTouch. Plug it back into your X..........Done

It won't. You're screwed.

So, do you not have a new PC with your library? What you'll have to do is "de-authorize" your friend's PC, and authorize your new PC (if you have one). Then, load your library onto the new PC, and sync your iPod. Anything short of this will not work.

so i have itunes loaded up on a laptop (2nd authorized comp). funny thing, albeit no so funny, is that i can't deauthorize the current laptop. so, think i will just reformat the itouch, reinstall itunes on the rebuilt home pc then start over. what a pain in the ass.

you would think there would be a way to blow away your profile in the bmw system...
