Uh? you are right, there is a mistake here, 51770421056 is the right part for 21"s and 20"s., Cant be sure about the other part even though dealer confirmed that.

Marius Knur [mr-exclusiv*at*gmx.de]

A 22 hour round trip, €100 diesel, €12 for the BMW Museum (I just had to go since I was in Munich ) and €3109 for the wheels. They cost €3800 including tax but I bought them on the company so without VAT.

He's a very correct person. They were balanced and fitted with 285/325 Dunlop SP Sport Maxx Runflats

51770421056 is correct. €83 + 21% VAT at my local dealer = CHEAP and not very BMW-like Funny how nobody believed it since it was so cheap LOL

I was hoping it was a US dealer, then I'd call them up to ask some details. Here is my GUESS, I think you need the 20" flares kit which is the -056 and if you have 21" wheels then you'll also need the -390 kit which will give you wider rear flares? I think. This is just my speculation based on the parts involved (see below). Please feel free to correct the info anytime.

Dealer is Williamson Balfour Motors, Santiago - Chile.

Interesting..
What have you done with your previous wheels.

Did they buy them over or are you keeping them for in the winter

They have Continental RFT winter tyres mounted. What a difference in ride quality lol

Retrofit kit, wheel arch extensions 21" 51710007390

Hello,

Has anyone ordered the Retrofit kit, wheel arch extensions 21" 51710007390?

Are the deflectors just a wider version of the little mini mudflap thingies in front of the wheel well?

Thanks.
