Sweet! I'm jealous of your SD engine. And the tow hitch looks great. I feel like getting one just to prevent parking dings from idiots in the city. The white is truly beautiful.

Thanks rh71, your X5 was my inspiration and I had a picture of your car on my computer as the desktop for ages and also used the pictures of yours to show friends and family what mine was going to like.

Ahh right, we talked about the tint... carbon 20 turned out great. Love the contrast. Did you do the front windshield too? No interference I presume?

WOW, OMG, Holy S**t...your E70 is drop dead gorgeous. It looks amazing. The Sport trim/kit (M pkg) is brilliant, it makes the car look so aggressive and sleek. Honestly, in the profile pictures, it looks like the E53 4.8is Super SAV! Incredible wheels, great sport kit, perfect tinting...I had white on my '08 4.8i and I now have white on my Range Rover, I'm loving white right now. For 2008, white was the #1 seller in the USA, for the first time. White dethroned silver & metallic gray & black! Honestly, one of the best looking E70s I have ever seen. It's sad though, that they mistakenly placed your steering wheel on the wrong side. Silly Bavarians, err silly Alabamans !!

Nup I didnt get the front windshield done, I think its only allowable to tint the front windshield if its done at time of manufacture.

I had a look at mine this afternoon and I am not to sure if its got some sort of coloring or polarized thingo on or in the glass itself???

Has anybody seen this type of slight tint or reflectivness on an X5 winshield, maybe its an Australian modification???

Hey Bozz,
On E53's an option for a comfort windscreen was available, it sounds from your description that that's what you've got on your E70.
