Summer Wheels Style 215 (Ferric Grey) Installed!

Well, I finally got my summer wheels installed (Style 215) and I think they look quite impressive. Here is a picture of my X5. I was originally going to get the style 214, but my dealer made a mistake and put on these wheels instead. Do you guys prefer the style 214 over the style 215 wheels? Also with summer performance tires (I have the Dunlop Sport Maxx), do you guys notice that the SAV is a bit bumpier than with the regular 18" all seasons that come with the vehicle? I don't have sport suspension on my vehicle so I am wondering if that makes a difference.

Looks good. The question is: what do YOU prefer? Who cares what we prefer. Did you get these for the price of the 214's? I think I may be misunderstanding your post. Looks like you did the flares as well? Good job.

Poleposition: Originally I had my heart set on the 214s but I have totally changed my mind and prefer these wheels by a country mile. They are unique and different and the grey of the wheel matches the space grey body colour.

Yes I did get the wheels for the same price as the 214s from the dealer. Actually I purchased their summer tire package in the fall/winter 2008 so I got a good price for the whole set.

I got the fender flares installed too as the wheels stuck out too much from the sides and the flares provide a nice "lip" around the back of the wheel.

Looks good. I have the 21 inch 239's and it is firmer than the 18 or 19 inch wheels. However, certainly acceptable as a DD.

Those look really good!

I had to order my (Space Grey) X5 again, I would get Ferric Grey wheels --- either in 214's or 215's.
