Hello Everyone!! New to the forum

Hello there! Just wanted to check in and say Hi. Been lurking but finally decided to post.

I'm new to the forum. But have been a long time fan of the X5. Used to have a E53 4.4 and after a love affair with a Range Rover, I have now gone back to a E70 4.8

Always loved driving SUVs for the interior comfort and to be just a little higher when driving. Yes, I love modding my cars, and some may ask why buy an SUV to do this? No idea. Just happen to like it, LOL

Now if someone can help me lower the rear of my car, I'd be eternally grateful!!

Here's the original project before the custom paint job and suede interior:

This was from the Car Audio Magazine Feature

Now here are a couple of pics of the new project. As I went Hamann on the old one, I thought I should go with ACS on this one.

Sorry for the pic quality, was taken on my phone. Hope you guys like it... (or try not to flame too much, hehe)

Yo, brotha from a different motha! Your first ride looks SIK. Congrats on the e70. Nice choice of kit. I have yet to see another ACS X5 in S. Cali!

Even though the kit is black, I would suggest color matching the kit so the finish matches perfectly. Do your rims/tires protrude past the rear wheel well? That's a really nice fat lip. A pallet of bricks in your cargo area will drop it at least 1 inch It looks like the front is lowered? Light tint on the brake lamps and reflectors looks good.

Any interior/stereo mods? What's next on the mod plan?

I'm trying to change out the fogs and front reflectors. Any suggestions on how to access these areas? Let me know if you need any carbon fiber like and white roundels...I got an extra set.

Welcome, and keep us posted with the transformation.

Hey guys... thanks for the nice comments!! Really appreciate it from other X5 owners =)

Sedoy- I think the kit with the exhaust was around $4200

1SIKCAB - I wanted to do something new with the E70, so I actually painted the kit, side steps, fender extensions all in BMW graphite grey, to have a contrast and do something different. The front is lowered on H&Rs, but they don't have the rear setup like they did for the E53. I have some Audison stuff ready, but just don't have time to put it in, but I don't think I'm gonna play with the interior too much this time. Actually enjoy having black leather, as you can see that was something I didn't get in the E53. As for your fog and bumper... I actually cut out the holes in my ACS kit so I can access it, right now your best bet would probably be taking it to a body shop, sorry!!

askhao - I'll try to dig up some pics for you. The Range and my E53 both showed for HRE in SEMA, so I'm sure there are pics floating around the web somewhere.

rh71 - the tail lights were painted by my body shop, as well as the reflectors on the rear bumper to match
