How to remove side emblems?

I want to remove the 3.0si emblems. Does anyone know they are attached with sticker or glue on? What is the best and easy way to remove them without damage the paint?

Thanks.

They removed mine, apparently the best way is to use dental floss to cut behind the double sided tape, then polish after.

If the car is older you may want to take a hair dryer to them first to soften the double sided tape than use the dental floss. That is the safest way to remove them by far. You don't need a lot of polish if the car is new, just somethig to remove the adhesive left behind. If you use Goo-Gone or something like that make sure you do wax afterwards. I de-badge all my vehicles this way.

It is 08 and i may just try dental floss first if this is the safest way to do.

As they've been on for a while, the hair dryer will soften the adhesive and more will come off the car with less work. Don't heat them till they are too hot to touch, just getthem good and warm so the adhesive gets soft, then use the dental floss. Dental floss alone will just cut the double sided foam tape in half leaving half the tape and all the adhesive on the vehicle. You will then probably need to use a good polish then wax to get rid of any shadow left on the car as the paint under these emblems has been protected by the emblem and the surrounding paint may have some "age" to it.

Take some progress pictures and show us how good a detailer you are!!!
